Winona State University’s Outreach and Continuing Education Department (OCED) announces the addition of online, non-credit continuing education and professional development courses.
The courses have been made available through a partnership with JER Online (JER Group, Inc.), a national provider of online education. With this partnership, OCED now offers more than 50 online courses in a variety of professional development subject areas including compliance, ethics, global business success, job search success, Six Sigma, small business development and technical communication.
“Business professionals who want to invest in continuing education need courses that allow them to work around busy schedules,” said OCED Director Diane Dingfelder. “Our new partnership with JER Online supports Winona State’s ongoing commitment to expand online course offerings needed by adult learners.”
John Reid, Ph.D. and President of JER Online (JER Group, Inc.) said, "We are pleased to be in partnership with Winona State University and look forward to providing a high level of Continuing & Workforce Education courses and certificates.”
OCED has been offering online courses with educational partner Learning Resources Network (LERN) since 2009. Later this summer, OCED plans to expand further by offering project management online courses in partnership with Cheetah Learning.
