These new ultra lowminiature broadband TO-5 relays have internal discrete silicon diodes for coil transient suppression (D) and polarity reversal protection (DD). The diodes are built in to the relay to reduce the number of external components needed to drive the relays, and reduce the circuit board space needed to mount the relays to a minimum.
Designed to operate in the DC to 6GHz frequency range or with high speed digital signals, the relays are exceptionally stable with excellent switching repeatability over a life of 10 E operations at signal level.
Applications include test and measurement, low power switching matrices, low power wireless and semi-conductor test and load boards.
Enclosed in a 9.4mm diameter hermetically sealed washable package, the Series offer 5V and 12V coils with power consumption at 450mW for RF300 versions and 200mW for the
sensitive RF303 version. Continuous operating and switching performance is offered over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C.
