My-Newborn-Baby-
Do you remember all of the thought and preparation that went into the weeks and months preceding the birth of your first child? There were so many things to research, so many decisions to make: "What type of labor do I want?" "How will I decorate the baby's room?" "What things does a baby really need?" "What kind of parent will I be?"
Perhaps one of the most highly debated decisions an expectant parent must make is in regard to their method of feeding. While current scientific research clearly lands on the side of breastfeeding, many mothers choose to formula feed their newborns. What causes a parent to choose one method over another? Is it health? finances? convenience?

"Nothing beats a real person sharing a real story about how a decision played out for them," says Laurie Grismore, founder of My-Newborn-Baby-
That is the goal of this contest.
Judged by a trio of "mommy bloggers", this contest is seeking "original, well-written, true stories that will be beneficial to parents faced with this decision". Not only will the entries provide valuable information for expectant parents, the top two contest entries will win a $20 gift certificate to an online store.
The baby contest ends August 31, 2010. For rules and directions, go to http://www.My-
