McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP Partner Mark Lange to be Guest Speaker at Association of Corporate Cou

ATLANTA — Mark S. Lange, a partner in the Corporate practice of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA), will be the featured speaker at the Hedge Fund General Counsel Dinner at 6:30 p.m. this evening at the Innis Garden Golf Club in Old Greenwich, Conn.  This event will be hosted by the Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.  

Lange will address the status of the pending carried interest tax legislation in Congress and the likely impact on hedge fund partnerships and funds.  He will also discuss potential planning techniques to ameliorate, if possible, the exposure to 50 percent or more ordinary income treatment of carried interests under the pending legislation.

Lange is a partner in the Atlanta office of MLA.  He concentrates his practice on transactional tax matters and counsels clients on domestic and international corporate mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, alliances, limited liability companies and other pass-through venture capital and hedge fund transactions.
