CeCe Segarra Performs For Eva Longoria Parker At Her “Playing For Hope” Charity Gala

July 22, 2010 - PRLog -- (Beverly Hills, CA) Pop sensation CeCe Segarra performed at the Eva Longoria Parker and Rafa Marquez “Playing for Hope” Gala benefiting Eva’s Heroes and Rafa Marquez Foundation on July 17, 2010 at the posh SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. In attendance to the star-studded event were Eva Longoria Parker (Desperate Housewives), Rafa Marquez (2010 Mexico World Cup Player), Greg Vaughn (General Hospital), James Kyson-Lee (Heroes), Jasmine Dustin (actress and model), Kathy Griffin (comedian), Roger Mason Jr. (NBA San Antonio Spurs), just to name a few.

CeCe performed her hit single “Like Me,” currently heard on radio stations across the country, followed by a salsa routine that got the crowd dancing on their feet. She closed with the fan-favorite pop/urban collaboration “Go Your Own Way” featuring multi-platinum rapper Gucci Mane. This event is presented by Eva’s Heroes and the Rafa Marquez Foundation, which are both organizations that aim to improve the lives of children who are less fortunate or have developmental issues.

“Eva and I have been really good friends and I admire her charity efforts while still maintaining such a great business ethic,” comments the songstress, “She is really someone I look up to and I can definitely learn a lot from.”

CeCe Segarra is the first artist from quickly growing label Weight Records and has already been dubbed “The Princess of Miami” by super producer and Miami radio personality DJ Khaled. CeCe recently performed the National Anthem and performed to a sold out crowd during the half time performance at the Dallas vs. San Antonio Spurs 2010 NBA Playoff Game at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Latina Pop princess has fervently continued working on her debut album collaborating with industry heavy-hitters including hot music producers The Runners who are known for their hit single with Usher “Hey Daddy,” and Robert “Big Bert” Smith who worked with Michael Jackson and Jessica Simpson.
