Discover critters on the coast

The New Forest National Park Authority and Hampshire Country Council are inviting families to come and join them this summer for a series of fun-filled wildlife activities and games on the coast.
 
July 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Leanne Atkinson, Coastal Ranger at the New Forest National Park Authority, said: ‘There is something on offer for everyone. If you like rolling up your trousers and going for a paddle to look for little critters like limpets and mussels then rock pooling is definitely for you. However, if your prefer staying on dry land why not try bird-watching or speaking with our mobile ranger.’

The Coastal Critter events are free and run from 11am-3pm.
Thursday 29 July, Lepe Country Park
Tuesday 3 August, Hurst Spit (Cut Bridge)
Friday 13 August, Pennington Marsh (Lower Pennington Lane)
Tuesday 17 August, Calshot Spit (middle car park)
Tuesday 24 August, Lepe Country Park
Friday 31 August, Pennington Marshes (Lower Pennington Lane)
