Opening and Closing Ceremonies Tickets of Guangzhou Asian Games to Go on Sale on July 26

Tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games will go on sale to the global public at 10 o'clock on July 26.

According to news from the official website of Guangzhou Asian Games, tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games will start selling to the global public at 10 o'clock on July 26. From 10:00 July 26 to 17:00 August 15, the public can submit request for tickets through the official ticket website of Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games or 400 designated ticket booking outlets of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) across China.

It is reported that the total number of the tickets for both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of this Asian Games is 5000 respectively and the price range is between 1,600 Yuan and 6,800 Yuan; and the number for Asian Paralympic Games is 10,000 and price range is from 50 to 1,000 Yuan.

In addition, applicants can get the eligible for ticket lottery only after they make the payments in September. Within a month after the application deadline, Guangzhou Asian Game Organizing Committee (GAGOC) will begin draw lots about tickets. Then they will send confirmation letters to lottery winners and return payments to those unlucky applicants. And tickets will be delivered to lottery winners in October.

The official of the GAGOC also said that most of the event tickets including surplus tickets of badminton, table tennis, gymnastics, etc on the first phase would be sold to the public again in October.
