“Allstate is proud that one of its own has been selected to help preserve wildlife on tribal lands throughout Florida” says Andy Fuhrman, President of Allstate Resource Management, Inc.
Mandy D’Andrea’s new position with the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Environmental Resource Management Department (ERMD) will entail monitoring wildlife and endangered species on Big Cypress Indian Reservation, in the Everglades and on Seminole tribal lands throughout Florida. The Seminole Tribe’s heritage and identity is strongly linked to the land. Seminole cultural, religious, recreational and commercial activities depend on a healthy Everglades ecosystem. Ms. D’Andrea’s contributions to wildlife preservation will play an important role for the Seminoles and their efforts to maintain their native lands.
Ms. D’Andrea had been in charge of water quality control programs for Allstate Resource Management where she was responsible for water sampling, fish stocking and wetland mitigation monitoring for homeowner associations and state and local agencies.
“I’m looking forward to new opportunities, new adventures and sharing what I’ve learned from my experience at Allstate with others so we can all help maintain a healthy ecosystem” states Ms. D’Andrea.
