For the sending and the reception of the messages, the software makes use of the existing structure and architecture including Message Transfer Agent, data bases and messaging client of the messaging system. With the IXI-UMS SBE Service Fax, the users can send and receive faxes directly at the workstation. The Service Voice enables the users to use IXI-UMS as voice box directly at the workstation and listen to voice mails at the PC, via telephone or via mobile phone when being away from the office. A connection of IXI-UMS SBE is possible to conventional PBX’s as well as to IP-based ones or both in parallel operation.
