It is learned from a major China travel agency that Hainan Airlines and Shandong Airlines raised their prices of first-class and business seats recently after Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, and Shenzhen Airlines did about 10 days ago.
Hainan Airlines not only raised the price of the first-class seats, but also added the diamond first-class cabin this time. At present time, the newly added diamond first class cabin is limited to the Airbus A340 aircraft, which made passengers’ free baggage allowance up to 60 kg. The price of the diamond first class seat is 250% that of the economy class seat; and the adjusted price of the first class seat is about 230% or 200% that of the economy class. The adjusted price applies to part of the domestic routes whose issuing date and departure date are respectively after July 16 and July 20. Take the Beijing-Shanghai route as an example. The adjusted price of the diamond first class is 2380 Yuan, and the first class is of 2600 Yuan. For more about China flights, visit http://www.chinatouronline.com/

The new price of the first class and business seats on these three routes are respectively 200% and 150% of the full economy class fare.
