Palingenesis to demonstrate and test plant in Malaysia’s leading hazardous waste management centre

Palingenesis Manufacturing Inc. announces the signing of an Agreement with Kualiti Alam Sdn. Bhd. (KA) of Malaysia to demonstrate and test the Palingenesis Proprietary Waste Treatment Process on various waste streams generated throughout Malaysia.

Staley, Chairman of Palingenesis Manufacturing, Inc. said, “that Kualiti Alam, a government linked company which has been processing industrial and commercial H&T waste under an exclusive licensee from the Malaysia Government for the past 14 years is now looking to enhance their existing technologies with the environmentally friendly Palingenesis Process to treat and process various difficult to handle scheduled waste.

Palingenesis is now shipping a 20-foot Palingenesis Demonstration and Test plant to Kualiti Alam to test the Palingenesis Process on various hazardous and toxic wastes such as sludge oxidizers, sludge poisons, insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides, corrosive acids, corrosive alkali, peroxides including MEK, Calcium Hydride, sludge (SHIW) containing heavy metals, including Cadmium, Mercury and Lead.

Other waste types cover electric storage batteries, sandblast media, photo chemical powders, paint and paint chips, sludge containing toxic substances (SHIW) such as solid wastes contaminated with Organic Phosphorus, Arsenic, Cyanide compounds, 2.4.D Lindane, Methoxychlor, Toxaphene, Silvex (2.4.5-TP), sludge containing Halogenated Solvents (SHIW) such as Trichloroethylene, Tetrachloroethylene, Dichloromethane, 1.2 Dichloromethane, Carbon Tetrachloride, Tetrachloroethylene, 1.1 Dichloroethylene, cis-1.2 Tichloroethylene, 1.1.1 Trichloroethane and 1.3 Dichloropropene, and a myriad of other waste streams.  

Theodore J. Staley went on to say that both companies were looking forward to a long lasting working relationship after the successful testing of the scheduled waste and also possibly in the area of MSW. Prior to executing the Joint Venture Agreement, Kualiti Alam sent a team to Manila to witness first hand the Palingenesis Process which was utilized by Pathogenesis Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Palingenesis and stated their complete satisfaction with everything they saw including the treatment of clinical waste.
