Miami – AtHomeNet, a web services company located in metro Atlanta, is sponsoring and providing instructional support to the Community Association Managers Program (CAMP), a continuing education program from Edison State College. The program covers a variety of topics in relation to community management including insurance, banking, and legal services.
On Friday, July 23, AtHomeNet representative, Cyndi Sanders, will lead a course for CAMP entitled “Introduction to Website Terminology”
“Since our relationship began in 2008, we have been providing support to this worthy program through sponsorship and instruction to community managers. As CAMP grows and expands to include other community colleges and takes their courses online, we look forward to a long, mutually beneficial relationship,”
With AtHomeNet web services being used in over 1.6 million homes all over the world, they are distinctively qualified to educate community managers about website terminology and how internet technology relates to modern communities. Relating the community website to current events and how they can affect a community is also important.
“South Florida has a large number of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and condominium associations in relation to other areas of the country and the number of residents is growing. With the annual threat of hurricanes, this year’s Gulf oil spill, and other important issues in Florida that affect every resident’s daily life, it’s important for Community Association Managers to keep up on the latest information and developments in all areas of their business, especially improving ways of communication among the board, residents and managers,” remarked Cyndi Sanders.
