Day of Giving attends Dixon Golf Green ribbon cutting ceremony

July 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Dixon Golf is green to the core! They recently cut a green ribbon celebrating the opening of their new Worldwide headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. In attendance was Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman and Scottsdale Mayor, Jim Lane.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was standing room only as hundreds of people from around the nation packed Dixon Golf's new GREEN building located in the Transportation Center in downtown Tempe.

Day of Giving has been following Dixon Golf since they started manufacturing the Worlds first and only Eco-Friendly golf ball. I play the "Dixon Eco-Friendly Earth Ball" says Brian Hussey; president of Day of Giving. I can hit further and straighter and my short game has also improved.

Dixon Golf has three styles of golf ball.

Earth has a high performance 392 tour proven dimple pattern for maximum control and distance.

Wind is an extreme distance ball with 428 dimples for ultimate distance and accuracy.

Fire has a 318 dimple pattern for pro-performance.

Dixon CEO William Carey and CFO, Dane Platt opened the ceremony by giving thanks to those that helped organize the party and for everyone that has helped Dixon Golf become so successful. William also spoke of Actor Don Cheadle who is a spokesperson for Dixon Golf.

Moving into the Tempe transportation center helps Dixon Golf with their GREEN initiative. The building is designed with innovative features that help conserve energy up to 52 percent. The City of Tempe has agreed to pay up to $213,000 in capital improvements for the 5,300 square foot space as part of the lease agreement.
