New Castle Community Block Party, sponsored by Preston Scion

July 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Come join us on July 23rd at the New Castle Y-Zone for the New Castle Community Block Party, sponsored by Preston Scion. Stop by to check out some of the latest Scion models!!! The Preston Auto Group is locally owned and operated therefore giving back to our local community is one of our main goals and priorities.

Plus take advantage of the opportunity to meet Craig Wolfley, former Steeler and current sideline reporter for the Steeler's flagship radio station. He will be speaking on the main stage at 6:45pm. There will be live music, including concerts by Whetstone (a New Castle local band) and Flame (Gospel Rap artist), and give-A-ways from the main stage all throughout the evening. At 9:30pm we will be ending things with a bang through a fireworks show. So bring the whole family! The event starts at 5pm and there will be much to do for the whole family from climbing a 40 ft inflatable Rock Wall to carnival games for the kids and a whole lot in between. This is a free family friendly event and we will be providing burgers, dogs, bottled water, and chips for everyone!

This event is primarily sponsored by Preston Motors, Scion, and Lawrence County Youth Ministries. Bob Preston, owner of the Preston Auto Group, says that this will be a “great time for families all over the community, we couldn’t be happier to be a part such a great event!”
