Hal Abramson's Promoting Wisdom Offers Unique Service, Bringing People Together

Hal Abramson is a major concert & music festival producer who may be the only promoter anywhere giving his time to help others. A brutal business full of sharks, it's redeeming to know someone out there has a higher calling to bring people together.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul 15, 2010 -
Hal Abramson, an unusually caring and effective event producer since 1975 is so caring, he has frequently been taken advantage of by the uncaring, unethical and unscrupulous.

Hal Abramson has shared his extensive experience and wisdoms for many years, both in consulting new promoters daily, and in two incredible, comprehensive concert and music festival promotion books found at www.concert-promotions.com

Hal Abramson’s consulting site is www.rentapromoter.com

Unfortunately, after 3 decades of promoting, just since 2005, Abramson has encountered some of the most dastardly operators trying to enter into the concert and festival business. Their lies and deceit have required him to take ongoing legal action. To make matters worse, the web is being abused by some of these unethical operators. This is libel.

The spurious statements of him seen online in a few postings are actually opposite of who he really is. Hal Abramson is one of the most selfless and generous promoters of our time, uncharacteristic of the promoter stereotype, giving to homeless shelters, food banks, offering free consulting to start-up promoters and encouraging others to give to the Red Cross on his web sites. Hal Abramson is a giver, not a taker.

His habit of trusting others has undergone a new filtration process. He now helps for free at first to test the communication level of the potential client or associate. If the prospect can't communicate professionally in the beginning, it's revealing of their abilities and intentions later on." Abramson said in 2010.

After seeing damaging postings about Hal, a client, California Comedy Concert Promoter Steve Ferguson wrote in 2009:

“Knowing your character because I know you personally, I find that this is a wrong depiction of you and the way you handle business. What's more, I tried to counter what was being said by placing a positive comment that truly addresses your business characteristics as they truly are, and the site in which the negative comment was posted would not let me post a positive comment. I tried numerous times to post my opinion and each and every time it would not process.

Hal, I hope you can take some sort of action against those in charge of this site that is slandering your name. I know you are a fair, intellectual, and hard working business person and I would like for you to receive credit where credit is due, and not let slander affect your work and promotions.” Ferguson said.

in fact, Hal has worked on hundreds of events over the last 35 years and served as a major marketing executive creating and managing highly effective marketing departments.

Here are just some of his recent clients, happy they contacted Hal.

Mick Roberts, New York City “Hal, you are a treasure.”

Anthony Crum, Denver, CO  “I could have never written that Business Plan in a thousand years.”

Gary Bond, Irving, TX  “It was a tremendous experience talking with you and more importantly, it's good to know that we share a belief in God and doing the right thing.”

Simon Kyriacou, Australia "Hal is one of the most inspirational people I have ever come in contact with. His down to earth nature coupled with decades of experience within the entertainment industry, I highly recommend Hal from conception through to completion of your event!”

Nick Blight, Australia “A big thank you for the information that you gave me”

Art Grayson, B’ham, Alabama  “You are the best”

Nainona Kuna, Hawaii “Thank you so much for the valuable information, and for being so readily available to your customers/clients. It's nice to know that such great help, is only a phone call away.”

Lance Cheslock, Alamosa, CO “Thanks for your generosity...so much food for these people! It was such a bright point for me! Justine commented what a good experience she had meeting you! Thanks for getting me some business cards and clothing items for the shelter too!”

Kelly Prochnow, Mexico City  “Oh my goodness, thank you for putting a smile on my face, love it!!!! You now have a big fan(which I am sure you have plenty), and I now have a new role model for your strength in character, your sight and follow through, and your simple love for life.”

Dave Bryson  New Jersey “Thanks for the kind words Hal- Good luck with all your endeavors- you are one of the good ones!

Donald Davidson, Canada “I just finished reading your book How Not to Promote Concerts and Music Festivals and I must say that it is a masterpiece. I learned a great deal from your book and I am eager to get into the concert promotion business. A big thanks!"

Hundreds of appreciative people who have come in contact with Hal Abramson have benefited from his knowledge, advice, encouragement and passion to promote. However, only in the last 5 years has Hal seen such an avalanche of liars, incompetents and character assassins. "We live in a new, dangerous world for the promoter where unsuspecting web surfers believe whatever they read." Hal urges you to write to your legislators to have them change libel and slander law’s statute of limitations beyond the absurdly short one year, to a lifetime just as the crime of murder is prosecutable. Libel and slander is the same as murder.  In modern times, there is no difference." Abramson said.

"The concert and music festival business is tough enough. Dealing with barriers created by incompetent, unethical people violating their agreements and then lying to the media, public and authorities, makes it impossible to create success sometimes." Hal said

Hal Abramson has promoted concerts, music festivals, trade shows, circuses, ice shows, retail, travel and resorts. He promoted the largest, most exciting bluegrass music festival in American history and is a former Regional Marketing Director for Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus and for Ice Follies and Holiday On Ice.

Hal is an amazing promoting resource. Five minutes on email or the phone will show you his true value. It is not difficult to understand how lesser promoters could be alienated by his amazing skills and achievements. Excellence is not expensive, not having it costs a fortune.
