July 15, 2010 - PRLog -- The "Google Redirect Virus" is an infection that redirects the search results you click on from the likes of Google, Yahoo & Bing. This virus has been around for several years, and the big problem is that it's extremely difficult to remove from your system. Fortunately, there's now a working tutorial that's just been compiled by a leading computer fixes website.

You can see how to remove the Google Redirect Virus here:

You'll typically know if you have this virus by your search results redirecting to random websites. The virus comes from a variety of sources, including the likes of Trojan Horse viruses, malicious websites and even a fake antivirus scan online. The real issue with this infection is that when it does install itself on your PC, it only changes a few of your web browser's settings - meaning that most of the popular antivirus, anti-malware & anti-spyware program are not able to remove the infection from your PC.

Instead, if you want to get rid of this virus, you need to be able to use a special method & tools that are going to remove it from the files it's infected. The tutorial that's just been released has found that if you use a program called "ComboFix", you should be able to remove the various infected elements of the virus... and then you should be able to "clean up" any further infections by using a registry repair program.
