Treasurebox Opens, Gems Found Inside

Portland, OR, United States (www.treasureboxrecords.com) - Treasurebox Records announces the launch of a new record label with two new recording projects: "Better Days" by Sons of the Late D.C. (online release Summer 2010) and "Refuge" by Good Luck Buddha (to be released Fall/Winter, 2010).  Based in Portland, Oregon's colorful Alberta St. Arts District, Treasurebox Records began quietly in support of international electric guitar sensation Wolfgang Rehmert's debut commercial release. Titled "Better Days" and recorded under the project name "Sons of the Late D.C." the EP features celebrity drummer & producer Matt Butler (Hot Buttered Rum, Everyone Orchestra, fmr. Jambay), keyboardist Asher Fulero and Sean Frenette on bass guitar. The songs offer lyrics and melodies deep and sweet enough to match Wolfgang's masterful guitar playing.

Fusing contemporary songwriting with rich and satisfying classic rock guitar sounds and vocal arrangements, listeners will find the flowing melodic yet edgy tunes make Treasurebox's first release a true musical gem. And as if producing one gem in a year isn't enough, Treasurebox Records just announced that it has signed female-fronted psychedelic rock act Good Luck Buddha to the label.  Founded by former members of Roads Less Travelled and Dharma Engine and also featuring Wolfgang on guitar, those who are familiar with the band's impressive live performances and the Pink Floydian sounds they are known for, eagerly await "Refuge," the band's debut release in early Fall 2010. With Dylan Mageriek (prev. credits incl. My Morning Jacket, Starf*cker & Mother Hips) added to the production team on July 7, 2010, this album is sure to be another jewel hiding in the Treasurebox.
