The Cinema City International Online Film Festival’s panel of Judges is proud to announce the June , 2010 winners. The Festival serves as a showcase for screenwriters and directors from around the world, inspiring provocative cinema by emerging talents within the industry.
June festival winners are Jeff Jones, Marce Swing and Kevin McElroy.
The Lazarus Grid, written by Jeff Jones, won a Gold Award in the category of Best Screenplay. The story is about Dr. Aurora Cameron, a widowed physicist in need of dialysis to stay alive. She has been ostracized by the scientific community for her discredited metaphysical-
The Silver Award was presented to Kevin McElroy for his feature film, For Honor with Valor. This evocative story is about a young soldier from Minnesota who tells the story about his life in the Military from that time he enlists, throughout his term. He makes career choices based on the honor and respect he has for his country.
Russell & Friends Against Fringy & Space Pirates, written by Marce Swing, received a Silver award for screenplay about a boy who lives in a near future, a grad student and some aliens must save the world from corrupt people and space Pirates.
The Cinema City International Online Film Festival was founded by Suzanne DeLaurentiis, a 30 year veteran filmmaker. Throughout her 30-plus years as a filmmaker, Suzanne has been honored with many prestigious awards. In 2002 the Marco Island Film Festival honored Ms. Delaurentiis with their esteemed Terry Scarlett Award for Filmmaking, and in 2003 the Palm Beach International Film Festival presented her with The Distinguished Founders Award for Excellence in Filmmaking.
