New Director of Finance and Executive Casino Host Announced by Odawa Casino Resort

July 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Odawa Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians has named Roger Borton as the new Director of Finance. Roger brings with him over twenty years of experience in Accounting, Financial Management and Business Consulting, which includes Gaming Financial Management.

Mr. Borton graduated from Western Michigan University with honors. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an Accounting major. He has also studied Forensic Accounting, Leadership Development and Teambuilding and a wide variety of taxation topics.

Roger is married and has three children. He has been a Michigan resident his entire life and an avid outdoorsman. Roger said, "I am happy to be back in Northern Michigan and especially at Odawa Casino Resort.  I have made so many friends here over the years and coming back was returning home for me. I really look forward to being a part of a team of hard-working, loyal and dedicated people striving to make Odawa Casino Resort the very best in Indian Gaming."

We are also very pleased to announce the newly named Executive Casino Host, Craig Kahgee. Craig has served as a Senior Casino Host at Odawa Casino Resort for the last five years with an inspiring level of dedication to the progression of guest service.

Mr. Kahgee is a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and is a life-long resident of Petoskey. He also shares his workplace with several of his family members, including his wife, Sarah, his son, Mathew and his brother, Bruce.

Craig says, "Being a Senior Casino Host has allowed me to bring my own personal touch to guest service on the casino floor, taking people from all walks of life and making it a personal goal to ensure that they all have the very best experience while visiting Odawa Casino Resort. Whether in times of sadness or joy, I take pride in always being there for the guests."

As the Executive Casino Host for Odawa Casino Resort, Craig will oversee the operations of all Senior and Associate Hosts.
