AUDITION AMERICA WAIVES ENTRY FEES
Cync Entertainment LLC, the company behind Audition America – The Search for America’s Favorite New Actors, announced today that the company will be waiving any future entry fees and will be providing full refunds to all existing contestants.
Since the launch of http://www.AuditionAmerica.tv on June 1, Cync Entertainment LLC has required an entry fee from actors interested in participating in the upcoming reality-competition. All fees were applied to operational expenses associated with the show’s website and the production of the Web series to be broadcast online in 2011.
Audition America is the first reality-based competition of its kind to accept only video submissions for entry. While the process was originally developed to eliminate unforeseen and often expensive costs associated with traditional on-site auditioning, such as travel, lodging, parking and other incidental expenses, the community support was not as favorable as originally anticipated.

Show producers now intend to approach national sponsorships and potential television broadcast partners, armed with petition signatures and video submissions, with the hope of securing Audition America a spot in a network’s 2011 line-up.
