Company founders, David and Marie Rhoades, have been in business since 1994 when they first began selling handcrafts in the Pacific Northwest. Many wonder where the name, Sally Lee, comes from, "The company is named after, and dedicated to, our mothers 'Sally' and Mona 'Lee'," explained David. "We have seen the economy, lifestyles and decor trends flip-flop from year to year. It's important to keep up with competitors as well as keeping current on what consumers are looking for."
What is the new and improved Sally Lee about?
Our store is now known as Sally Lee by the Sea. "Since we relocated to the small seaside town of Ocean Park, Washington the nature of our lifestyle naturally transitioned the business into Sally Lee "by the Sea". "We love the coastal lifestyle and want to share that
passion with others," states David. Marie enthusiastically explains that, "Our goal is to assist our customers in bringing the special feeling of the Coastal lifestyle to their home, life and/or seaside retreat with not only top of the line products, but also blog topics which range from our love of flip-flops to design ideas, recipes and garage saling."
Sally Lee by the Sea isn't a "big box store" and the owners are enthusiastic about that fact. "We can provide our customers with top-notch customer service because of our size and the fact that we truly care about their satisfaction."
What's in store for customers? The coastal lifestyle is about enjoying beauty, fun, relaxation, parties, food, kickin' back and just being...so the products we sell go along with this.
