Allstate agency owner Greg Grimaudo of Mahopac was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program. Grimaudo donated the grant to the Mahopac Carmel Chamber’s annual college scholarship program. Mahopac student Julianna Besharat was chosen to receive the scholarship based on her essay, grades and extracurricular activities.
Besharat, the student body president at Mahopac High School and a participant in MOST, Carmel March of Dimes, and Meeting of the Minds, will be attending Quinnipiac University. Her goal is to return to the Mahopac area with a degree in Health Services Administration and Management, and open a clinic for students.
“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Mahopac community every single day,” said Grimaudo, whose office is located at 559 Route 6N. “It is an honor to be able to donate this scholarship grant to and hopefully help Julianna achieve her dreams.”
