Introducing The Color of Love Bridal Expo

July 13, 2010 - PRLog -- The Color of Love™ was the brainchild of Raye Kimberlin, marketing and event professional.  In 2001, Raye Kimberlin conceived the idea of celebrating marriage and love in the black community by creating a Black Bridal Extravaganza.  The event was produced by her team in Columbus, Ohio and held at the King Arts Complex.  This event indeed was an extravaganza including an exhibit area with over 75 bridal businesses, Christian focused seminars, and a dramatic fashion show.  The event concluded with a special wedding ceremony for 2 lucky radio listeners where the wedding was planned by Kimberlin and her staff including a live serenade from national recording artist Jesse Powell.  The event would become an annual affair for 4 years.  The Color of Love™ is a re-invention of the same concept of the Black Bridal Extravaganza.  It is a multi-platform experience for the bride as well as bridal businesses.  From events to multi-media, The Color of Love ™ offers a more unique way to plan weddings.  


With over 15 years of media experience, Raye Kimberlin has worked in radio, television and newspaper as well as entertainment, hospitality and non-profit industries.  She has created promotional concepts for major corporations and organizations along with implementing media campaigns for non-profit organizations.    


Her professional experience includes Book Publishing; Grassroots, Cause Related, Diversity and Non-Profit Marketing; Public and Media Relations; Client and Community Relations; Electronic Communication; Event Marketing and Management.; Graphic Design and Lay-out; Professional Organizing; Project Management; and Website Design.


She successfully created, produced and managed events including black tie affairs, concert events, an annual bridal show, a music industry summit, health fairs, job fairs and festivals.
