San Antonio, TX – The 31st clinic in the WellMed Medical Group is now open in the Sun City of El Paso.
WellMed Senior Clinic at Medical Center is at 1724 Weston Brent Lane, off North Lee Trevino Drive near the Vista Hills Country Club. The clinic, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., is accepting Medicare-eligible patients.
Dr. Christine K. Hernandez, who has been practicing medicine in El Paso for a quarter century, is the Primary Care Physician. She is board certified in Family Practice and Geriatrics by the American Board of Family Practice.
The 5,000 square-foot, single-story medical facility has 13 exam rooms with on-site lab, X-ray and plenty of parking. WellMed Senior Clinic at Medical Center is the first WellMed Medical Group clinic in El Paso, featuring a clinic staff trained to focus on senior healthcare. Patients experience shorter wait times in the lobby and longer, more in-depth visits with their healthcare provider. Same-day urgent care appointments also are available.
