The acquisition of the Knowledge Solutions Division from EmerGeo Solutions Inc. adds best-in class emergency management and operational safety courses to the eCompliance portfolio of web based eLearning solutions. In addition to the Intellectual property and licensing rights the acquisition includes the transfer of major customers such as Syncrude Canada, Nexen, Shell, CNRL, NAIT and Alliance Pipeline. To ensure uninterrupted service to these and all other customers and the business continuity of the acquired division during and after the transition key employee, Mr. Barclay Hunter, has joined the eCompliance management team.
Mr. Hunter, will act at Vice President of Knowledge solutions at eCompliance and will take control of the entire eCompliance eLearning portfolio. With over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry in senior management roles, Mr. Hunter has a proven track record of providing innovative solutions to national and international companies and he has been a pioneer in the development and implementation of corporate e-learning, performance support and compliance focused management systems. This experience includes the development of nationally recognized training initiatives for several of Canada’s industry associations including the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute, and the Canadian Chemical Producers Association (CCPA).
