July 13, 2010 - PRLog -- This workshop will put you a great location for landscape photography at a great time of year. Together we will head out on daily photographic adventures. Then later in the day we will review our work in group critique. Many topics will be examined including: planning your composition, capturing the right light; getting the right exposure; how to pick the right lens; when to use filters, and how to correct and enhance images with photo-editing software. This course will be very helpful for those students also taking the Outdoor Writer’s Workshop. Photographers on all levels are welcome.

Essential Gear: You’ll need your digital camera with the manufacturer’s manual; spare storage cards; spare batteries and or a recharger; lens tissue; lens cleaning fluid, a laptop with a card reader; and a few blank DVDs.

Highly Recommend Gear: Please consider bringing a weather resistant camera carrying bag. The following items are also recommended if your camera allows their use - a tripod or monopod, a polarizing filter, a selection of lenses, and a shutter cable release.
