On June 25, 2000, Tracy Lynn Myers was last seen getting into a dark green pickup truck on the 3500 block of Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. As a young 21-year old female, Tracy led a hard life with a heroin addiction. Prior to her disappearance she had left a treatment center in Kennet Square She has loving family members who miss her dearly and pray each day for their needed answers.
After learning that she went missing the family searched desperately to locate her but was unable to find any sign of their loving daughter, sister and friend to many. The family learned that the driver of the truck was described as a male with a dark complexion but no other clues other than the dark green pickup that he drove. They are hoping someone may have more information for them. There has been no activity with her Social Security number since she disappeared. Tracy had been known to leave home on occasion, but would always stay in touch with her family. Regardless of her addictions, her family loves her and misses her very much.
For the past ten years her parents have spent numerous days, and evenings, going to drug areas to talk with those who may have seen or know what happened to their daughter. Many will not talk or information is given that she died from an overdose yet nothing concrete and no physical evidence of her passing away. Eight months ago a skull was found in New York and the family submitted to DNA, however, results have not been completed and the family intends on keeping their hope and faith and focus on finding her.
Tracy's sister, Lisa, lives with the fear each day that something terrible may have happened to her sister. At the same time she hopes that perhaps her sister may be alive even if she is living on the streets in drugged areas. If they are able to locate her, their hopes are to bring her home and help her get the needed medical care that she deserves. It's been ten long years and they need to know where she is and what may have happened to her. Tracy would be 31 years old today. In 2000, she was 5'0 and weighed between 100-120lbs.
