What will Christmas 2010 look like for you?
An old-fashioned family Christmas with everyone gathering round a nominated family member’s house. Mulled wine on arrival, too much to eat for dinner, the obligatory snooze in an armchair in the afternoon followed, of course, by family feuding in he evening as the alcohol starts to kick in.
Or maybe you prefer to get away to a sunnier climate. Trawling the internet to find the best deal, finding out “that particular offer is not available sir, we can accommodate you but the cost will be twice what you were expecting”. You book anyway so you then have to arrange transport to the airport, enjoy the usual queues and delays at the airport, squeeze into your airline seat to arrive at your chosen destination where you speak little of the language and take a while to acclimatise to the heat.
