Desiree Samira Entertainment is proud to present the Official After Party for the ACLU-NCA Equal Footing Campaign. This event will be held at Policy DC on Thursday, July 15th. It will be hosted by WKYS 93.9 FM's EZ Street and will have the sounds provided by DJ India. The ACLU Equal Footing campaign will also be doing an earlier event on the West Lawn of the Capitol Bldg, E. Capitol and 1st St., NE D.C from 6-9pm to raise awareness about Washington, D.C., the only capitol city of the democratized world whose citizens are denied a vote in the national legislature. There will be hundreds of people who will join the cause and rally and there will be live performances by some of well-known voices of the DMV (DC/MD/VA). For more information on the rally, please visit www.aclu-nca.org.
Moving forward, when the rally is over, Policy DC will be the place to be! Desiree Samira welcomes all media, community activists, leaders, entrepreneurs, lovers of hip hop music to join the after party. There will be appearances by Studio 43's Uptown XO, Ra The MC, Broadway Miller, PHZ-Sicks, K-Beta, Black Cobain, Fat Trel, Rasi Caprice & more. With all of the talent in one area, who knows what may happen on the mic, so make sure you are a part of a movement and make a stand in your community. The after party will also serve as a fundraiser, with some of the proceeds that are made that evening going to the ACLU-NCA Organization.
