BLACK TIE ATLANTA benefitting Dress For Success Atlanta

July 12, 2010 - PRLog -- ATLANTA - Next Friday hundreds of Atlanta’s elite are expected to take part in first annual Black Tie: The Art of Celebration event to benefit Dress for Success Atlanta and Unity Network & Counseling Center. The event-taking place on Friday, July 16th from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center will be an incredible night of music, fashion, and art featuring a diverse mix of Atlanta’s bold, beautiful and fashionable.

The evening hosted by Jose Chu (spokes model for rapper T.I.’s AKOO clothing line)  and world-renowned choreographer CiCi Kelley (Toni Braxton, Beyonce, MTV’s MADE, Tyler Perry’s House of Pain) will begin with a one day exhibit of the  impressive collection from emerging artist Lucien Downes. The night will be capped off by a live performance from Pop/Soul artist Ross Fleming & The Southern Movement and a mind-blowing fashion preview featuring Destini by Natt Taylor. The Black Tie: The Art of Celebration event which is organized by The Donald Group and a group of host committee members was created to bring together metro Atlanta’s young professionals, socialites and talented community to aid the efforts of community partners like Dress for Success Atlanta and the Unity Network & Counseling Center.

Attendees are encouraged to bring accessory items to be donated to Dress for Success Atlanta. Appropriate items include: handbags, scarves, belts, new hosiery, new cosmetics, jewelry, shoes and female toiletry items. Monetary donations can be submitted via the Black Tie website.

The Black Tie: The Art of Celebration tickets are $15 general admission, $25 for VIP seats and $165 for Table. VIP tickets include reserved parking, VIP lounge seating, raffle and drink tickets.
