About the Author: Phil Roach spent his working life in the printing business: starting, growing and selling three such businesses. He thus became an admirer of Benjamin Franklin, and took great interest in the founding principles of this country. In this vein, he has had two hundred Letters to the Editor published, explaining conservatism. Upon retirement in 2008, Roach finally had time to write a book putting together the positions he has developed over a lifetime.
