Remember who voted for the Banking Bailout Bill?
Remember the Bailout Association is announcing a state wide ad campaign starting on Tuesday, July 13th. The purpose of the ad campaign is to remind the Oklahoma voters that Mary Fallin voted for the Bank Bailout Bill (renamed the TARP Bill) that was passed in October 2008. This bill was the start of additional bailout and stimulus spending that now has the United States national debt exceeding $13 trillion. This out of control government spending spawned the explosive growth of the movement now called the Tea Party movement.
Mary Fallin is now running for Governor of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma voters need to be aware that Mary Fallin voted for the Bank Bailout Bill. She did not have the strength and principles to stand up to the pressure brought upon her to vote for the Bank Bailout Bill. Mary Fallin and the Oklahoma voters need to be reminded of the horrendous action taken back in October 2008.
Remember The Bailout Association was formed by a group of activists after the passage of the Bank Bailout Bill. These activists had been actively working to oppose passage of the Bank Bailout Bill. The mission of Remember The Bailout Association is to remind the citizens of Oklahoma which members of the Oklahoma Congressional delegation voted to approve that bill. The Remember The Bailout “black signs” are rather infamous with the members of the delegation voting for the Bank Bailout Bill.
Thomas Kiene currently serves as the President of the organization.
Remember The Bailout Association is a founding member of the Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance.
