MIAMI, FLORIDA (July 12th 2010) – In a city that is so popular and full of life, it is difficult to understand why there is not an easy way to find out what Miami has to offer. One local website is looking to change all that.
Locals don’t want to spend 30 minutes looking for something to do, and tourists do not know where to look. Now, both demographics are discovering Miami’s neighborhoods in a fresh new way by visiting What Miami (www.whatmiami.com)
The website makes it easy for readers to find all of the information they are looking for in just one place, by presenting an interactive city guide & directory that is fun to use. Major events, parties, local businesses, and community outreach programs finally have a single place to be found.
According to owner, David Adhira: “What Miami is a new breed of online magazine designed to bridge the gap between traditional and online media. From business directory and event listings to local coverage and contests, What Miami targets a largely local audience.”
What Miami makes use of today’s most advanced technology to also relay information via its native integration with popular outlets Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and Twitter. The Facebook fan page often holds contests where readers can participate for prizes, while the app keeps them up to date with daily happy hours and events.
Following months of beta testing, What Miami has now officially launched. New features will further expand its reach with sections such as “Transportation”
