LENNAR HOMES, JACKSONVILLE, FL – Lennar Homes was recognized at the annual Northeast Florida Builder Association (NEFBA) Laurel Awards with the Grand Laurel, as well as eight additional awards: Dick Baker Award, Barbara Moore; Sales Manager of the Year, Mike Carlo; Marketing Director of the Year, Walter Hawkins; Best Ad; Site Agent of the Year, Teresa Santos; and awards for three models.

The Dick Baker Award, which was awarded to Barbara Moore, recognizes a leader in the building industry that continues to go above and beyond in their community involvement as well as in their position. Moore has spearheaded many community programs for Lennar’s Jacksonville division, including raising funds for the Boselli Foundation to help inner-city children. Currently, Lennar is hosting a Backpack Drive and creating plans for a community center in Panama Park.

The Grand Laurel recognizes an organization that has excelled in all areas of business, including marketing plan, product design, interior design and market approach. In addition, Wendy Chandler Designs was recognized with three Laurel Awards for her interior designs in Lennar’s models in Willowcove, Lexington Park and Wynnfield Lakes. Each of these models showcase modern, contemporary décor that complement the interior architecture, such as included features like stainless steel appliances, tile flooring and plush carpeting, for which Lennar has built its reputation.
