Time Medical Received Frost&Sullivan “APAC Medical Imaging Product Innovation Of The Year” Award

July 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Singapore, July 8, 2010:  Frost & Sullivan, a global leading consulting and market research firm, bestowed Time Medical the “2010 Asia Pacific Medical Imaging Product Innovation of the year” award in recognition of the Company’s successful commercialization of its breakthrough HTS technology & innovative MR systems.  

The Frost & Sullivan “Product Innovation of the year” award is presented to a company that has demonstrated excellence in new products and technologies within its industry. The award recipient must show innovation by launching a broad line of emerging products and technologies. The professional analyst team tracked industry players’ product innovation through ongoing market research, market interviews, and extensive secondary research to determine the deserving winner each year.  Contesting with several large established global Medical Device companies, for the first time, this year’s award is presented to Time Medical, a relatively new entrant in Medical Device industry, commending its innovative HTS technology that totally disrupts the MRI market.

Our High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) Coil Technology has progressed tremendously in the last year.  We successfully commercialized HTS RF coil that could achieve 200% to 500% improvement in imaging quality, setting new standards in the MRI market. Our disruptive technology produces superior imaging quality and also reduces healthcare cost significantly, making medical diagnosis more affordable to the underserved mass population in developing countries, particularly Asia.

Our systems also increase patient throughput, helping hospitals improve their bottom line without having to increase cost to patients.
