The SRrocks.com AM Drive show 6 AM ET-10 AM ET has no DJ (only music) playing new releases by famous Classic Rock artists and some of the top Indie artists in the world. Talisman the Band's "Shadows" was by far the popular song this spring.
The song was written by 'C' the lead singer and guitar player when she was around 12 years old. Now many years later the song is loved by everyone that hears the song.
DJ RockOn365 has been playing the song 24/7 since February in his Wednesday night "Philly Show" 8 PM ET (A show for Philly area talent) and weekend "Evening Shows" Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8 PM ET.
In second place in the voting is Mozely Rose from Nashville TN with "Say What You Want". Of all things a Country band playing on a rock station. RockOn365, "It's the quality of the music that counts not Country or Rock. Mozely Rose is a band on the rise like many bands that I play in my shows."
RockOn365 found more bands in the top five songs. The Riot Brides out of the Los Angeles area, Loner Eroded and Rivers Monroe from Philadelphia.
It is true that Peter Frampton, Ozzy, Foghat and Tom Petty are household names for most rockers and got their share of votes. The Trews also have a large following.
Talisman the Band "Shadows" won by a very large margin with more than 50% of the votes. The votes came from all over the world!
When a small radio station has a large number of votes for a poll like this it is telling a lot about the quality of the music that is played. The poll was only metioned on Facebook and Twitter account of DJ RockOn365 - No real advertising for the poll.
