Announcing the Inaugural Beaufort International Film Festival Poster Contest

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 10, 2010 - The Beaufort International Film Festival is seeking poster submissions for consideration as the official poster for the 2011 festival. The fifth annual festival will be held February 16 - 20, 2011 in Beaufort, SC.  Entry requirements and poster details for the artwork are available at www.beaufortfilmsociety.org.  Cash prizes for the first, second, and third place entries will be awarded.  For information, Beaufort, SC has served as the backdrop for more than 20 major motion pictures, to include Forrest Gump, The Prince of Tides, and The Big Chill.    The winning entry will serve as the Official Festival Poster and the winning artist will share in the proceeds from the sale of all marketing material containing the image of the poster. Artists may submit multiple entries but a separate entry fee and release form must be submitted for each submission. Entry deadline for the inaugural poster contest is August 31, 2010.
