To participate, one must be a subscriber to PMForum’s PM World Today eJournal – the world’s most international monthly publication of articles and stories about projects and project management. Subscriptions are free – to subscribe, visit www.pmworldtoday.net.
According to PMForum’s Managing Editor David Pells (pictured), “We have been planning this program for several years. PMForum has been offered free books, event passes, software and other products in the past in exchange for publicity. We thought, why not pass these offers onto our subscribers somehow? So we’re launching a series of drawings for free project management stuff. Maybe offer something fun for a change!”
There are some strings attached. Participants must be PM World Today subscribers, and must agree to allow their names and email addresses to be given to those companies providing the free products and services. Participants must also agree to receive future email announcements from PMForum, and, if one wins, allow PMForum to announce your name and geographic location as a winner.
Pells adds, “We think it’s only fair to be added to an email list or two for the chance to win hundreds of dollars worth of products or services, such as a course registration. You can always opt out of email lists later. It’s basically a marketing service for these companies in exchange for free stuff. And it’s a global program; participants can be anywhere in the world.”
Monthly PM GiveAways™ will be announced in one or more Breaking News articles on www.pmforum.org, and on the PM GiveAways™ pages. Participants can register for 30 - 45 days; deadlines will be announced for each drawing. Each registration will be assigned a chronological number. Drawing will be held for each item using a random number generator – number of drawings will depend on the number of PM GiveAways™ each month. Winners will be contacted by PMForum. Participant names and email addresses will be provided to sponsors (those providing the PM GiveAways™). Winners’
PMForum offers no claims or warranties regarding the products or services offered or promoted through the PM GiveAways™ Program.
