Ellie, a student from Northampton intends to tackle Mount Everest in support of a children's charity. In order to do this, she needs to raise £2000 by July. Sheinman has happily sponsored Ellie and also offered to supply her with appropriate eyewear free of charge for the adverse conditions she will encounter. It is vitally important that the correct eyewear is worn at high altitude to to protect the eye and the delicate skin area surrounding it so we chose the Oakley Fives frame as it wraps perfectly around the orbit, providing a physical barrier to UV light. This, combined with Oakley's Black Iridium Polarized lens, will give Ellie all the protection she needs to reach base camp! You can sponsor Ellie, and she will be keeping us up to date with her progress; watch this space for a picture of Ellie at Base Camp! Sheinman Opticians was established in 1915 by A E Turville, one of the founders of modern optometry and under the guidance of J S Sheinman since 1964, we have become one of Europe's largest and most respected optometric practices. To take a closer look at our range of Oakley glasses, please visit our website at http://www.sheinman.com/ # # # Sheinman patient Ellie Parker calls into the practice to choose her prescription Oakley sunglasses.
