PRLog (Press Release) - Jul 16, 2010 -
For over 18 years, Town & Country Antiques Mall has been a favorite destination for the local antique enthusiast. Perhaps it is the ambience of antique shops from long ago combined with the charm of the owner and the staff who are always ready to help or answer questions. Perhaps it is the combination of the fantastic antiques, collectibles and vintage items at exceptional prices.

Hidden behind Eastside Mario’s Restaurant, this gem of an antique store is a little hard to find, but once one finds it one thing is known for sure, customers always come for the hidden treasures found inside.

But times they are a’ changing – as the saying goes. Town & Country Antiques decided it was time to share their great antiques mall with the world – the World Wide Web that is – and thus their new website and email marketing program was born.

“We are really excited about our new website,” stated Barbara Gale, the owner and creator of Town & Country Antiques Mall. “It allows us to share our love of the past while using the technology of today to help people find us. One thing I especially love is the old-fashioned feel the site maintains which reflects our location,” she continued.

Town & Country Antiques is also part of the antiques are green movement and decided it was time to move to email marketing to keep their customers informed of news, sales and information. “It’s a great way to help the environment and helps to further promote the wonderful qualities of antiques,” Gale said. Customers can simply sign up for the email program, called The Country Club, right on their website to receive coupons, discounts and special promotions.

A different approach was used in creating their website. They didn't want a static site that just sat there. Rather, a creative and informative site was conceived. Not only does it let customers and antique enthusiasts know about the mall, it also helps to educate. Articles of interest are written and posted along with great pictures of antiques ranging from the 1800s to collectibles in the 1950s.

"Our site is still growing and evolving," Gale concluded. "We were thrilled when we learned our visits had tripled in just two months and we hope our customers continue to keep visiting to see what new and exciting things we have in store for them."

Be sure to give them a visit, whether in person or on the web. They are located at 31630 Plymouth Road, Livonia, Michigan, 48150.

Or visit their "other" location on the web at http://www.townandcountryantiques.net

Whichever way you choose, they look forward to your visit!
