This guarantee has recently attracted consulting opportunities from the Maryland Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs. KCG was tapped to assist in planning a series of one-day conferences for their MBE University program geared toward minority small business owners. Governor Martin O’Malley, Lt. Governor Anthony Brown and Congressman John Sarbanes attended this event along with other top Maryland Officials. In 2009 KCG was involved with the ‘People’s Inaugural Gala’ celebrating the inauguration of the 44th President Barack Obama.
