July 9, 2010 - PRLog -- This year marks the 11th anniversary of the community based event dubbed "Rumble in the Basin." It will also debut Worland, Wyoming's local recording artist RAIN, who was recently signed to Te-Money of The Gang Entertainment and Akon on a 50-50 joint venture deal.

For the past decade, Dick and Barbara Peterson have personally funded this spectacular community event to entertain the town and honor the armed service members of the United States, with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Northwestern United States.

In addition to their fire-works display, the Peterson's have added a first time ever hip-hop concert featuring their daughter RAIN as the headliner.  Others set to perform are Konvict Muzik/Black Card rapper Ya-Boy and rapper Dorrough, best known for his hit single "Ice Cream Paint Job."

Thousands are expected again this year, as advance ticket sales have gone through the roof. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to various foundations including the Worland food bank and Rain's "Let it Rain Foundation".  Five dollars from each ticket sold the night of June 26th at the MMA fights in Worland were donated to fight breast cancer awareness.

For more information on tickets and show schedule please contact the Chamber at 307-347-3226. The event will take place on July 9, 2010, with tickets also available at the door.
