Tabi Bonney will host fundraiser for Delano Hunter, Ward 5 City Council Candidate
Washington, DC-(July 9, 2010)-DC’s most notable and visible rap star, Tabi Bonney, will host a fundraiser, Saturday, July 10th at Jordans8 Restaurant on Capitol Hill, for Ward 5 City Council Candidate, Delano Hunter. Tabi Bonney, whose real name is, Tabiabuè Bonney, has taken the Washington DC Metro area airwaves by storm with his radio singles "The Pocket" and "Doin It" featuring Raheem DaVaughn.
Bonney is throwing his support behind Delano Hunter, a full time community organizer for Ward 5, who is competing with Harry Thomas for the Ward 5 City Council seat that is up for grabs this fall. Bonney, a local music notable, who has worked with the likes of Wale, LL Cool J, OutKast, Raheem DeVaughn and GZA, just to name a few, will host the posh fundraiser in Washington, DC starting at 7pm (EST).
