Production Begins on Mission Waco’s “8 for 8” PSA Campaign

July 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Waco, Texas  – To celebrate eight years in business, E.H. Anderson Public Relations announced production will begin today on eight public service announcements (PSA) for Mission Waco, a gift from the agency to the Christian-based non-profit organization.

Named the “8 for 8,” Mission Waco’s 30-second television PSA campaign will solicit donations for a several programs including the non-profit’s School Supply Store, which offers low income parents low-priced supplies.  Another PSA will solicit $35 cash donations so Waco’s homeless residents can select and be fitted for a new pair of shoes.  Three PSAs will promote upcoming events including the No Need Among You Conference, which teaches those who are more-fortunate how to provide effective community ministries among the poor and marginalized.  

“Bage and Liz are professional and personal at the same time,” said Jimmy Dorrell, executive director of Mission Waco http://www.missionwaco.org.  “When they told me about the 8 for 8 idea, of course I agreed, and we got right to work.  They’re the best.”

E.H. Anderson PR and its video production division, Cut Pro Video, will write, shoot and edit http://www.cutpro-video.com the spots that will run on Grande Cable. Their goal is to have one or two new PSAs produced each month starting in July, and then by Christmas have all eight complete.

“It was an easy decision as we looked at the current status of our business -- a light client load and an eight year anniversary to celebrate,” said Liz Anderson, owner of E.H. Anderson PR.  “Why not use our time and talents to help an organization in need, and I challenge other businesses to do the same, whether its time, products, services or something completely out of the box.”

Anderson selected Mission Waco as a token of appreciation for inspiring Cut Pro Video’s producer, Bage Anderson, to return to video shooting and editing in 2005.
