Vietnam’s continuous growth and recovery over the past years went up by 6.4% in Q2 in 2010, nearly reaching the government’s target of 6.5% for the entire year. This emerging market has proven to be a hot destination for alternative investments, with constant improvements in its infrastructure and regulatory framework to further enhance the investment environment. There is clear interest in investing in Vietnam but investors are unsure of certain key factors such as which assets to invest in or the regulatory framework for investments in each asset class.
The new socio-economic development plan is also set to be implemented in 2011, which would comprise of Vietnam’s plan to increase production to continue its economic growth. This marks the perfect timing for discussions on how Vietnam will be moving forward in 2011 as well as the challenges faced in 2010 together with innovative strategies to prepare investors for a fruitful year ahead.
Mr. Tu Minh Thien, Director of Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) Ho Chi Minh City will be addressing investment opportunities and other key information on investments in Vietnam, especially in the healthcare sector, at the 4th Annual Alternative Investments Vietnam 2010 which will be held in HCMC on 27 – 28 October 2010 at New World Saigon Hotel. In his presentation, he will be touching on the demand, opportunities and returns for investors in Vietnam’s healthcare sector. He will also be outlining investment procedures, regulations and key management tools to further promote investments in this sector.
Industry experts will also look at investment opportunities and proven strategies in other sectors such as Real Estate, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Education, Technology and Retail in Vietnam. Foreign and domestic investors will be equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge for successful investments in Vietnam to further support and stimulate the country’s growth and development.
