The two-day forum held in Santiago, Chile brought together major mining companies and leading Original Equipment Manufacturers to discuss a range of topics under the events theme ‘Best practices through simulation – Achieving the safety and production benchmark’.
In attendance at the event were representatives of over 30 mining companies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Perú. A broad range of presentations were delivered by Immersive Technologies’
Amongst these presentations, the world's largest export, open-pit coal mining operation, Cerrejon, reported the positive results gained since integrating Immersive Technologies’
In addition to customer presentations, Immersive Technologies shared information about exciting new solutions and techniques for maximizing the return on customers’ simulator investment, whilst its Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) alliance partners Caterpillar, Komatsu and P&H were also on-hand to share their views and experiences.
