Pompous and overpriced California Wedding DJ Peter Merry has a new scam in the works entitled "The Professional Process".
This new two day scamfest requiring attendees to pay a premium fee of around $2000 promises to be money well spent.
According to the "fun wedding guy" a.k.a. "Uncle Peter", attendees can expect the following:
"To be inspired and motivated.
To learn how to increase your earning potential.
To stay afloat while many are sinking in a tough economy.
To grow both as an entertainer and as a professional business owner.
To give yourself a clear roadmap for building even more success in the future.
To fulfill your goals for becoming more successful in 2010"
Meanwhile, the $5000 per event Peter Merry doesn't seem to have many gigs booked these days.
They say that "those that can't teach".
In this workshop, "Uncle Pete" will disclose the following:
Peter will disclose:
• His complete performance style and approach as a Wedding Entertainment Director™.
• How to create detialed direction checklists for the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception.
• Various methods for effectively commanding the guests’ undivided attention from the very beginning.
• An assortment of optional layers for adding personalization to the grand entrance.
• How to find sound clips and how to choose where and when to use them to create the most impact.
• Ideas and resources for improving our skills as entertainers.
• How to “stay in the moment” so you can roll with unexpected situations and turn them into priceless memories.
• Various approaches for mixing the dance music to create more energy.
• His use of interrupted First Dances with surprise, choreographed routines and tips on making them effective.
• Video footage from some of his recent receptions while candidly discussing what worked, what didn’t, and why.
For my $2000, I'd like to take direction from an wedding entertainer that works more often than three times a year.
Signing up for "The Professional Process" is like taking singing lessons from Roseanne.
Signed,
DJ's that have a full schedule.
