July 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Boca Raton, Fla., - July 8, 2010 - Bluegreen Corporation , a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced an environmental awareness game using hidden "frogs" in rooms of a luxurious new building at Bluegreen's Ridgedale resort campus. The game is intended to teach guests the importance these amphibians play in the Ozark's aquatic regions. Frogs are sensitive to pollution and toxins so they are considered an indicator species whose health can be a way to evaluate the strength of Missouri's eco-system.

"We want our guests to know that they have frogs in their rooms," says Ramona Legowski, Director, Resorts Experiential Programs and Marketing of Bluegreen Corporation. "Frogs were selected because they have a connection with all ages, and they're hugely impactful to the environment."

Framed artwork with written instructions to the game in the shape of a frog will be placed on a tabletop in each room. From light fixtures and wooden relief carvings to metal accents on ceiling beams and paintings on ceramic tiles, 15 frogs will be hidden under, above, around, behind and on top of items in each unit for guests to locate. Guests will be encouraged to seek out these frogs in order to have an outdoor vacation experience that is both fun and educational. A handout with the location of each frog will be available from staff members.

Legowski also pointed out that frogs are beneficial to the Bluegreen vacation experience. "They eat small insects and spiders that can be bothersome to our guests. Additionally, they fall prey to larger predators like snakes and fish. So their role in the food chain is essential."

This luxurious new building is located on Bluegreen's Ridgedale resort campus, which also includes Bluegreen Wilderness Club and Cliffs at Long Creek. Bluegreen's incredible building features exclusive amenities including concierge service, private pool and hot tub as well a limited number of spectacular presidential suites.

Bluegreen consulted the Missouri Department of Conservations website to help ensure environmental responsibility and complement its green efforts.
