July 8, 2010 - PRLog -- The deadline for the US Technology Fund is quickly approaching: August 1, 2010. Bytes, Bits & Megabytes, a leading Central Florida technology provider developed the US Technology Fund, which provides local non-profits in Seminole and Orange County with a variety of services: Networking, Security, Software/Equipment Auditing, Computer Support, Onsite Repair and more.

This marks the second year for the US Technology Fund. Bytes, Bits & Megabytes developed the US Technology Fund in 2009 to celebrate the 25th year in business with $25,000 in donated services. Bytes, Bits & Megabytes has continued the fund and added $1,000 to mark the 26th anniversary.  

“We know that non-profit organizations have to stretch their budget and often technology is not in the forefront. We understand how precious their IT systems and data is for maintaining their organization’s business.” Paul Daigle, President of Bytes, Bits & Megabytes further explains, “We help these non-profits by evaluating what they have and helping them understand and maximize their capacity. We can help take care of diagnostics and security that they normally can’t afford and along the way educate them on how to manage and maintain.”

Non-profit organizations can apply by downloading the application at http://www.ustechnologyfund.org/. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of representatives from Bytes, Bits & Megabytes along with members of the local community. The panel will respond in writing to all applications that are submitted in accordance with the application guidelines. Organizations are selected upon how the computer services will be used to further their organization’s goals.
