With half of those pre-registered attending, and guests coming from word of mouth the NET Fair couldn’t have had a better launch. Over a 100 local tradesmen visited alongside dozens of visitors from the North of Scotland to the boundaries of Cornwall. Within minutes of the doors opening the exhibition area was booming with tradesmen connecting with other local businesses, major manufactures in their industry and taking in several seminars a piece.
The first seminar, PAT Testing Business Start Up by PASS Electrical Training Courses was such a success, with standing room only in its first run; it had to be run twice within a purpose built marquee to cope with the large turnout. The popular hot topic of Solar Panels and Renewable Energy was the highlight of the afternoon, seeing the Introduction to Solar Panel Installation seminar being repeated more than once as well by local based firm Revolution Power.

Major equipment exhibitors, including local Peterlee based Seaward Electronics, and the business start up companies like Business Link and Enterprise Made Simple had only positive comments from attending the trade show hosted by PASS;

Several competitions ran through the day to win training courses and a valuable multifunction tester and PASS are delighted to reveal that by luck of the draw all were local winners. With great pleasure two winners were from Darlington College’s own electrician’
The exhibitors, seminars and taster courses has allowed for a truly tailored, exclusive and unique exhibition for the PAT, Electrical Testing and Inspection and Renewable Energy Installation trades.
